How we started
In 2014, our co-founder and CEO Marwan Forzley wanted to level the playing field for small businesses, his mission was to provide small businesses access to enterprise-grade payment technology in an easy-to-use platform, which led to the creation of Veem. The name Veem stands for Very Easy Exchange of Money and reflects our dedication to making business payments as simple as buying a cup of coffee.
Veem becomes a Licensed Money Transmitter
Veem acquired its first Money Transmitter license in 2016. As of today, we have obtained 46 state licenses, SOC2 certification and PCI-DSS compliance. Learn more.
