 About This Team

The Risk operations team at Veem exists to keep the bad guys out and to help get the good guys in, this means ensuring Veem and its members are compliant with all regulatory and banking partnership requirements. The role itself is dynamic and demands adaptability and an individual that is both agile and consistent; autonomy is a necessity as you will be trusted with making decisions that count.

 Responsibilities

  • Performing risk evaluations on new & existing Veem accounts
  • Transaction Monitoring & Review (AML/TF)
  • Analyzing member activity on a continuous basis
  • Evaluating quality of information & documentation provided by Veem members
  • Fraud detection/mitigation and investigations
  • ML & TF  Prevention and detection
  • Contributing to ongoing Fraud/ML/TF mitigation methods and enhancements
  • Handling Customer Fraud/Dispute claims 


Qualifications

  • 1 year of operational experience in the financial transaction space and analysis with a primary focus in fraud & ML  
  • Organizational skills with a keen eye for detail 
  • You truly thrive in a fast paced environment 
  • You are adaptable to change and coachable 
  • Extensive multi-tasking and prioritization skills 
  • Experienced in dealing with online fraud including account take over and Identity theft
  • Ability to collaborate across departments 
  • Able to work flexible shifts
